ACME is an on-line international journal for critical and radical analyses of the social, the spatial and the political.
Imaging Famine is a research project that looks at how famine has been represented in the media. Has useful articles and reports on this issue.
The Development Education Association of the UK (www.dea.org.uk) has interesting publications and 'Thinkpieces' which cover a range of interesting topics and are free to download.
The Department for International Development (UK) has a magazine called Developments, which has good information on development from the majority world.
Taking It Global has a great site for global educators thatis worth a visit.

* The Aotearoa New Zealand Council for International Development (www.cid.org.nz) run several training courses and workshops for those in the field of development. Download their Training Brochure here.

* The Institute of Policy Studies (VUW) British High Commission in partnership withOXfam, CID, NZAID and the Britsh High Commission are holding a symposium on the MDGs. 20-21 March 2009, in Wellington. Contact Chris Harrington for further information.

The 2008 AGM for AGADEN has been held and we now have a new committee. The new co-chairs are Jennie O'Donovan (GEC) and Ced Simpson (Rights in Education).
Next committee meeting is scheduled for 3rd February 2009, from 2pm, at the CGA, Wellington 2008.
